Professor Deepak is a very kind and approachable professor, making it much easier to reach out for help when needed and ask questions more frequently. The flipped classroom approach was perfect for this course as it is usually easier for me to understand the topics being taught if I can either collaborate with my peers or watch the professor solve and give extra clarification on how equations are used in certain problems. Professor Deepak's friendliness and likeable personality made me want to go to every lecture and continue my learning. -- Andrew Mann

Deepak Sharma was an amazing professor who worked with the class to make sure we got the most out of it. Initially the class was a little disorganized as we worked to find what was best (grading scheme and doc cam instead of slides)

Dr. Sharma was hands-down an amazing professor. He made a point of connecting with students and addressing any questions/concerns. He was very reassuring when it came to addressing tests, expectations, and easing stress. I loved the way he taught this course and his office hours were very helpful.

I really enjoyed this course, and it was a privilege to learn from Dr. Sharma. He was aware of and engaged with our needs as students, made accommodations to promote engagement, and did his best to make our lectures more interactive. This course helped me identify what studying strategies/preparation I need to do for my learning style, and I've been working on a helpful process like that for a long time. I feel I've learned a lot, and these skills will help me moving forward as an engineer. -- Sage Newton

He taught it very well, clear and kept the mood light. I liked that he addressed us as "future engineers" and told lots of stories to help us learn and grow.

I would have liked a little more time at the beginning of each class or sometimes, the beginning of each question, where we cover the equations and principles being used a little more in depth. -- Andrew Mann

The initial disorganization was really odd but we worked through it. The main thing I wish was better is the grading speed. I don't think he is using grade scope so everything being done manually takes a long time.

It is ridiculous to be doing 3d rotational kinematics on a test that is worth 30% of your grade. We demonstrated proficiency in this difficult topic with homework and quizzes and the topic is too difficult for a high pressure testing environment. -- Cameron Amer

Had only graded things from week 1 and 2, it is currently week 10 and there has been no updates about assignments or midterm. Wish he would be more responsible about updating grades because he is a really good teacher.

If the course could give more feedback on the graded assignments

Communicate with students a little better about class cancellations. Also not using the chalk board because it's really hard to read what is on it. -- Hugo Conieres

Getting midterm grades out earlier. Also, shifting the load, the first 7 weeks seemed very slow and the last 3 were very fast and chaotic.
